Nou Patufet is a cooperative project that manages a school following the cooperative values, mission and vision. In this project, students are the main characters of their learning process and they build their own knowledge. They make sure students develop social and emotional abilities, considering that each student is unique and personalized attention is essential.
Nou Patufet was established in 2015 because the Patufet school closed. At that moment, the workers decided to take into their own hands the means of production, in this case managing the school, to keep the project alive.
Currently, 27 people work at the school, 20 are worker-owners, and 7 are workers who will eventually become owners of the cooperative. Its value proposal is a pedagogical vision with a strong determination toward the future through a project based on cooperative values.
