TRES CADIRES

● Do you know their impact?

projecte tres cadires - fundació seira
Tres Cadires makes quality artisan liquors and vermouth, sharing its workshop with other agroecological projects and driving agroecology and the social and solidarity economy in western Catalonia. It’s a non-profit, local development cooperative.

Andreu Culleré Monfà has been a member of the cooperative since 2016 and is now in charge of production. Mountains are his passion.
What impacts you the most about the cooperative?
Everything we have built around us after eight years. From the idea of recovering a traditional liquor, walnut wine, to now producing five beverages, creating and managing a local cooperative network (Ponent Coopera), and guiding other nearby projects of the agroecological sector.

When and why did you start?

We started designing the project in 2015 and launched it in 2016. The cooperative’s main goal was to recover walnut wine and in a not as far as we thought future, be able to live off this idea.

How many members are part of the project?

We are seven workers, and five worker-owners.

What differentiates you from similar projects?

We are restless souls, always brainstorming projects that positively impact the rural world. We want a thriving region where everyone can create a dignified life project.

How do you see yourselves in the future?

It’s a hard question. We see ourselves consolidating new projects that are starting and increasing the number of worker-owners.

What support have you received from Seira Impuls Cooperatiu? What have you used it for?
