{"id":1823,"date":"2025-11-13T10:46:42","date_gmt":"2025-11-13T09:46:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacioseira.coop\/som-av-i-seira-hem-impulsat-un-nou-instrument-financer-que-connecta-cooperatives-inversores-amb-entitats-culturals-cooperatives\/"},"modified":"2026-03-11T16:48:16","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T15:48:16","slug":"som-av-and-seira-have-launched-a-new-financial-instrument-that-connects-investor-cooperatives-with-cooperative-cultural-organisations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fundacioseira.coop\/en\/som-av-and-seira-have-launched-a-new-financial-instrument-that-connects-investor-cooperatives-with-cooperative-cultural-organisations\/","title":{"rendered":"Som av and Seira have launched a new financial instrument that connects investor cooperatives with cooperative cultural organisations."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_section][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]Together with Som AV, we are launching a new market that connects cooperative investors with cultural cooperative organisations, with the aim of\u00a0<strong>strengthening cooperative culture through a financing model that is aligned with the values of the Social and Solidarity Economy<\/strong>\u00a0(SSE).<\/p>\n<p>This mechanism is based on article 39.1.7 of the Spanish Corporate Tax Law, which regulates the\u00a0<strong>transfer of tax deductions to taxpayers who participate in financing audiovisual production and live performing arts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this way, investor\u00a0<strong>companies can deduct part of their Corporate Tax while contributing to the financing of audiovisual productions<\/strong>\u00a0promoted by other cooperatives.<\/p>\n<p>To present this mechanism, an information session took place on 23 May at Bloc4BCN, where the three audiovisual projects eligible for investment were showcased:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Flor del cel<\/em>\u00a0by Clack Audiovisual<\/li>\n<li><em>Rosine<\/em>\u00a0by Quepo<\/li>\n<li><em>ARNAL!<\/em>\u00a0by Bitlab Cultural<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This initiative is driven by Seira and Som Audiovisual<\/strong>. Som Audiovisual is a second-tier cooperative formed by the worker cooperatives Bit Lab, Quepo, Clack Audiovisual, the Sant Feliu Film Office Association, and the Platoniq Foundation.
